Rum Point Club’s Signature Cocktails and Where to Enjoy Them on Grand Cayman’s North Side

There’s something about sipping a cold, bold cocktail with your toes in the sand that makes everything feel a little more like paradise. At Rum Point Club, we’ve been perfecting that feeling for over 25 years — and our drinks menu is a big part of the reason people keep coming back!

Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a north-side regular, here’s your guide to our signature cocktails and the best spots to enjoy them, from our Rum Deck to Solis Restaurant. Spoiler: the setting makes every sip taste better!

The Original Mudslide — Grand Cayman’s Most Famous Cocktail

If you’ve heard of Rum Point Club, you’ve probably heard of the Mudslide. And if you haven’t, you’re about to become a convert! The original Mudslide was born right here at Rum Point back in the 1980s, and it’s been our signature cocktail ever since, making it a part of Grand Cayman history

Made with vodka, Irish cream liqueur, coffee liqueur, and a dusting of cinnamon powder — all blended frozen — it’s indulgent, ice-cold, and completely unique to us. Many places have tried to recreate it, but there’s only one original. For those who prefer their drinks without alcohol, we also offer a non-alcoholic Mudslide that’s just as creamy and satisfying.

More Rum Point Club Cocktails Worth Knowing About

The Mudslide may be our claim to fame, but our full cocktail list holds its own. Our bartenders have crafted a range of drinks that will tickle your taste buds and have you ordering more!

The Rum Slide is a twist on the original Mudslide: dark rum, Irish cream, coffee liqueur, and our little secret (we’re not telling. Blended frozen, consider it the Mudslide’s equally irresistible cousin.

The Cayman Kai Lemonade is bright, citrusy, and exactly what you want in the afternoon sun, with vodka, peach liqueur, fresh citrus juice, simple syrup, and pink cranberry juice. Refreshing doesn’t begin to cover it.

If you’re in the mood for something tropical, the Colada Colada brings together coconut rum, dark rum, cream of coconut, and pineapple juice, topped with toasted coconut flakes.

The Anchors Deep is a nod to local flavour, built around 7 Fathoms Rum (a Cayman-made spirit aged underwater) with mango, citrus, and a special spice. It’s bold, balanced, and a little bit adventurous, just like the island.

For something a little more sophisticated, the Rumspresso Martini hits the spot, with Zacapa rum, Fair coffee liqueur, espresso, and simple syrup. And the Twinkle keeps things elegant with vodka, elderflower, and Taittinger Champagne.

There’s genuinely something for every palate. Browse the full drinks menu before you visit and come prepared with your order!
