That’s why, in 2022-23, we decided to undertake a complete refurbishment. And the good news is, work is complete and our facilities are better than ever!
Everything that has made Rum Point Club so special over the years is still alive and well. From the ambiance to the aesthetics, we’re the perfect blend of old and new. As the home of Solis and The Rum Deck, you can find menus packed with local and international cuisines, island beers, and refreshing cocktails — including our signature Mudslide!

Introducing Rum Point Club in Grand Cayman
The idyllic white sand on our island’s north coast has long been the perfect place to dine, drink, and play. And at Rum Point Club, we’ve been helping locals and visitors alike do exactly that for over two and a half decades. From relaxing, mouthwatering meals to enjoying a cool, fruity cocktail with your toes buried in the sand, our picturesque, beachside spot is the only place to go when you want an authentic, laid-back Caribbean experience on the North Side.
Our signature restaurant, Solis, and open-air bar, The Rum Deck, are at the heart of every incredible experience here. But how do they differ?
Well, The Rum Deck (replacing the previous Wreck Bar) is tailor-made for a bite and cocktails. The covered, open-air bar extends for 50 feet and is the perfect place to watch a famous Cayman sunset. But no matter what time you visit, you can enjoy an all-day dining menu, an impressive range of drink options, and great beach tunes.
Solis is an enclosed, air-conditioned, and fashionable dining space with comfortable table-side and lounge seating, mounted TVs, and a central bar. We have created an atmosphere that’s ideal for hearty, relaxed family meals. You can even request to watch special sporting events on the TVs, although Solis isn’t a sports bar.
And when you’re ready to take in sweeping views of the North Sound after your meal, simply step outside onto the covered outdoor patio and soak in the stunning vista.

What’s New at Rum Point Club?
We know that the most exciting part of any finished refurbishment is finding what’s new! We love serving up what people want, so let’s find out more about what you can expect at the new-and-improved Rum Point Club.
- A renovated Treasure Chest gift store, complete with new-look apparel for beach days and exploring Grand Cayman, as well as gifts and souvenirs to take home.
- Completely new restrooms and an outdoor shower area, ensure you’re comfortable for the duration of your stay with us.
- The Rum Deck bar is now 50ft long, open-air, and covered with a roof, but provides the same stunning views across the Sound day or night. It’s easily the biggest bar in the Cayman Islands, and maybe even the Caribbean!
- As part of the Rum Deck’s refurbishment, we laid 15,000 sq ft of sandstone decking, setting the tone for an incredible lunch or dinner experience while gazing out over the beautiful turquoise waters surrounding Grand Cayman.
- Solis is now open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. And you now have two ways to enjoy the Cayman vibe: on our amazing patio with gorgeous views or inside with the cooling AC.
- We have developed new menus with a focus on great local produce, fresh fish, and flavors of the Mediterranean, South America, and the Caribbean.
- For the perfect pairing, we have also curated a new wine list around our food offerings, allowing you to indulge in a sensory experience.
